Overnight oats - the breakfast that does all the work for you.
If your mornings are rushed with school, work, kids, life, but you still want a delicious, nutrient-dense breakfast, this is the solution for you. All you do is combine the ingredients in a jar, shake it all up, refrigerate it overnight, and it’ll turn into a thick, creamy consistency that’ll keep you satisfied for the morning.
Today, I’m sharing with you my basic overnight oatmeal recipe. But feel free to spice it up however you’d like - add cacao powder, peanut butter, berries, whatever you’d like.
If you have a few minutes to spare at home, you can microwave it so that the banana becomes melty and caramelized. Or more realistically, if you’re in a rush, throw it in your bag with a spoon and take it with you for your commute.
